Annie Laura was born on August 3, 1934 to the late Benjamin and Ellamae Hockaday in Johnson County North Carolina.. She graduated from Johnson county training School.
Annie migrated to Newark NJ at an early age , where she met and married the late Johnny Bryant , to this union one child was born McKeithan , who preceded her in death.
Annie was employed at Greystone psychiatric as a registered nurse for fifty two years and retired as; nursing supervisor .She obtained her under-graduate degree from Essex County College and attended classes at Seton Hall University. She always took pride in her profession and was a dedicated and faithful employee. She was a member of Greystone Park Longevity Club and ASL-CIO
Later in life she met and married the late Frank Terzo and resided in Hill-side , NJ. "Aunt Annie" as she was fondly known to many was famous for her signature sweet potatoe pies , rum cakes , jokes and her honesty. She will al-ways be in our hearts.
Annie's health began to fail however her desire was to live at home during her final days. On February 7, 2010 in the early morning hours she transi-tioned from this life , to be with the Lord peacefully in her sleep.
Members of her family include: her grandson Razjon Clark, great grand-daughter Zydashia Woolard, of Newark, NJ her loving sisters ; Georgianna Loney and Thelma White of Newark NJ ; two sisters preceded her in death Rosa Lee Sanders and Dora Albritton, and a host of nieces , nephews and other relatives ;as well as her special friends from Greystone Park.
