Norman McBride, Jr. was born on June 9, 1948 in Tuskegee, Alabama to the late Norman and Mary Ella McBride.
Norman was educated in the Macon County School system. Norman later moved to New Jersey starting his own trucking company "McBride Moving" in which he was very dedicated to.
On February 4, 2010 Norman McBride, Jr. lost his battle to lung cancer at his residence in Irvington, NJ at 2:15 p.m. where he was surrounded by his wife and family members.
He was preceded in death by one son, Norman, three sisters, three brothers and one grandchild.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory: his wife, Stephanie Terry-McBride; his children, Kimora (Darren) McBride Smith of Easton, PA, Hessie M. Terry of Irvington, NJ, Kenneth Terry of Irvington, NJ and Lakeisha Terry of East Orange, NJ; eight grandchildren, Diamond Youmans, Natasia Hill, Averyana Hill, Keyon Terry, Stephanie Youmans, Ty and Adaiah McBride-Smith; two sisters, Annie Lois McBride and Evelyn Sherman of Corona, NY; ten brothers and sisters–in-law, Clyde Terry, Rebecca Terry, James (Anita) Terry, Vivian (Kenny) Finney, Alice Hilton, Roberta Miller all of Newark, NJ, Dora Terry of Irvington, NJ, Tangela Terry of East Orange, NJ; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
