William Edward Vaughn Born October 15, 1946 in Newark, New Jersey to William K. Vaughn and Mary May Elizabeth. William was the youngest of two children. William left this express on life on February 5, 2010 in his hometown of Newark, NJ.
Growing up under the love and respect of his grandparents Mrs. Susie (Amy) Hughes and Mr. Roy Oliver William learned to be a well rounded respectable young man. William attended 18 th Ave Elementary, Cleveland middle school and finished up Central High School. William was no stranger to hard work, as a young boy we worked at Fisher's Bakery along with this grandpa. William continued his education at Essex Vocational School where he majored in Art. Anyone that knew William knows that he was an amazing artist and could draw anything from sight. William caught the eye of Dorothy Robinson and they where soon married in 1974.
William lived his life to the fullest and his passions included dancing, music, writing and enjoying good times with family and friends. William loved to talk and be around people so his job at Newark Airport was a perfect match for him.
As the sun rose on Friday, February 5, 2010 at around 3:57 a.m. William was summoned by the Supreme Judge of the Universe to trade time for eternity. He followed the will of Our Almighty God. It only took a moment for the Lord to call him. He has in no more pain and he's not alone. He's only sleeping just a little while. Don't remember him as being dead, he's only resting instead.
He leaves fond memories in the hearts of: his beloved children, Kim Peacock Vaughn (daughter), Cherdon Mitchell (daughter) and Sonya Notis (step- daughter); grandchildren, Krystione Pilar Doster, Kristopher Paul Doster, Al-Wadud Robinson, and Wydeerah Robinson; and his great granddaughter, Shaizah Robinson and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
