Silverio M. Ortiz was born on May 24, 1956. He departed this life on Friday, March 5, 2010 at the New Community Home in Newark, New Jersey.
Silverio attended the Hoboken Public School system and graduated from Hoboken High School. Silverio was employed at Gardner Asphalt in Kearny, NJ for three years and then he was employed at Sam Max for one year in Newark, NJ.
He leaves to cherish his memory: one son, Jarome Ortiz; brothers, Sammy Ortiz, Robert Ortiz, Joseph Hiers, Freddie Hiers, Frank Hiers and James Hiers; one sister, Mary Hiers; and a host of nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.
