Theodora   Conyers-Wigent

Theodora Conyers-Wigent was born on July 20, 1966 in Newark, NJ to Mr. Thomas Conyers Sr and Mrs Celestine Conyers. She grew up in Newark New Jersey where she attended Arts High School and ATI College. She was employed by CIT Leasing Corporation.

In her early years she attended the former Unity Temple Church and later joined the New Born Holiness Church in Montclair NJ under the leadership of Pastor Mary A. Conyers-Caughman where she became a faithful Assistant Secretary, choir member and a role model in the Educational Sunday School Department.

She became a member of the International Free and Accepted Modern Masons and Order of Eastern Stars(OES) and served as a worthy matron of the OES; member of the Queen of the South, Amaranth Court and Heroines of Jericho.

She leaves to mourn her husband, John Wigent Jr; one daughter, Orie Wigent; two brothers, Moise Conyers(Queens New York), Thomas Conyers Jr (Manning SC); two sisters, Orea Conyers (Newark, NJ), Janice Breedlove (Newark, NJ)predeceased; 7 aunts, Rebecca Holliday (Washington DC), Mary Alice Caughman (Frank)(Newark NJ), Earnestine Canty(Marion Sr) (Newark NJ), Jerlean Conyers, Delores York (Raymond), Judi McCray, Bobbi Walker(Daniel) of South Carolina; 5 uncles, Leroy Conyers,(New York), Robert Conyers(Austin TX), Joe David Conyers(Tampa FL), Willie Lee Conyers(Maggie), Alphonso Conyers(Julia), Virginia Conyers(Lee Earnest) predeceased of South Carolina, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephew and friends and very close friends, Roslyn Logan, Bridgette Thomas, and Debbie Alise Stewart. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas & Celestine Conyers Sr. and a host of loved ones.

To the only wise God our Savior be glory and majesty, dominion and power to keep us safe and holy one to another.
